Ask a questionNo. The system sits under your sink and connects to the existing cold-water line. Nothing is cut, bolted, or drilled into walls. We install it and we uninstall it when you move — both included. Dozens of renters in Marina and JLT are on our service.
We do. Your service plan covers filter replacements every 6 months — we WhatsApp you a reminder, show up, swap them in 15 minutes. AED 500 per year covers everything (about AED 42 a month, but paid annually, not as a subscription). No surprise fees.
60-day money-back guarantee, no questions. After that, a 5-year warranty covers the unit. If anything fails, we're at your door within 24 hours — usually same day. Our own technicians, never subcontracted.
Bottled water sits in plastic in Dubai summer for weeks — microplastics leach into it, and 93% of bottled water tested globally contains them. Our system filters to 0.0001 µm (2000× smaller than a virus), re-adds Ca/Mg/K, and sterilises with UV. Fresher and safer, at a fraction of the cost.
Yes — and probably safer than bottled. Post-UV water is microbially sterile (log-6 inactivation). We add back calcium, magnesium and potassium at bottled-mineral-water levels, and pH is balanced to 7.5. Several Dubai paediatricians we service personally use it to prepare formula.
The unit is 42 cm tall and fits inside 98% of Dubai under-sink cabinets. On the free home visit, our technician measures your space and confirms before you commit. If it doesn't fit, we offer a compact variant or walk away — no obligation.
No. The system produces up to 300 L/day — more than a family of 6 can drink, cook with, and make ice from. You're capped only by tank refill speed (~10 minutes for a full tank).
Moving within Dubai: we relocate the system for free, any time. Leaving the UAE: we buy the unit back at fair value or you can terminate with 30 days' notice. No lock-in penalty.
Under 45 minutes for a standard under-sink install, up to 75 minutes if we also mount the shower filter. We bring everything — no trips to the hardware store, no waiting for parts.
Not yet. PureOas operates only inside Dubai Emirate — from Jebel Ali to Nad Al Sheba, including Palm Jumeirah, Deira, Bur Dubai, Jumeirah, and all newer communities. We launch Abu Dhabi in Q3 2026.
Officially yes — DEWA meets WHO drinking-water standards at the desalination plant. In practice, what reaches your kitchen tap is usually different. TDS in the 400–800 mg/L range, residual chlorine, microplastics from rooftop tanks, and occasional iron/manganese from older risers are all common. It will not make a healthy adult sick, but it is measurably worse than what left the plant. A 15-minute free home test tells you your specific numbers.
Dubai tap water typically measures 300–800 mg/L TDS at the consumer tap. Newer communities (Dubai Hills, Creek Harbour) tend to the lower end (280–420 mg/L), while older districts (Deira, Bur Dubai) regularly test 500–800+ mg/L. The WHO palatability guideline is 300 mg/L. A PureOas system reduces TDS to 40–80 mg/L at the drinking tap.
A professionally installed 7-stage RO system in Dubai fairly priced at AED 1,100–1,800 one-time. PureOas is AED 1,199 installed, shower filter free (worth AED 400), plus AED 500/year for service. No subscription. Subscription-based competitors usually work out to AED 5,000+ over 5 years for the same hardware.
Yes, when the system includes a mineraliser stage. Raw RO water is too demineralised for long-term drinking — it can deplete electrolytes. A 7-stage RO adds back calcium, magnesium and potassium at bottled-mineral-water levels, with pH balanced to 7.3–7.5. That output is safer than most bottled brands and recommended for infants by paediatricians we service.
In typical Dubai conditions: sediment and pre-carbon 6 months, RO membrane 2–3 years, post-polish and mineralisation 12 months, UV lamp 12 months. Your PureOas service plan covers two visits a year — we WhatsApp you 10 days before, arrive, and swap everything in 15 minutes.
No structural work. The unit connects to your existing cold-water shut-off valve under the sink and drills a single neat hole in the countertop for the dedicated filter tap (3 cm diameter, re-sealable when you uninstall). No walls are cut or bolted. Landlord permission not required under standard Dubai rental rules.
Yes — 40%+ of our customers rent. Nothing about the install is permanent: we remove everything and reseal the countertop hole when you move. Landlord permission is not required under Dubai rental law for non-structural kitchen appliances. We also offer free relocation if you move within Dubai.
Yes — DMCC-licensed plumbing and water-treatment businesses (PureOas included) are authorised to install NSF 58 / WQA Gold Seal-certified filters in residential properties. DEWA itself permits filtered water for drinking and cooking.
Only if you include the UV-C sterilisation stage (stage 5 in PureOas). It draws 8 watts — about the same as an LED bulb. The RO membrane and mineral cartridges are passive and work on line pressure alone. You can run without UV if preferred — stage 5 is optional at no cost discount.
Reverse osmosis physically rejects contaminants down to 0.0001 µm — the cleanest consumer-grade technology. Activated carbon adsorbs chlorine, taste and smell but passes dissolved minerals and microplastics. UV sterilises bacteria and viruses without filtering anything. A complete system uses all three: carbon pre-filter, RO membrane, UV post-treatment.
Drinking-tap only: the dedicated filter tap delivers 1.5–2 L/min — less than main kitchen mixer pressure, but more than enough for filling glasses and cooking. Main kitchen tap and shower pressure are completely unaffected — they run off the same supply line as before.
On purity, yes: RO-filtered water at 0.0001 µm rejection is measurably cleaner than bottled water (which contains microplastics in 93% of globally tested brands). On cost, vastly yes: ~90% cheaper over 10 years. On taste, we match or beat most Dubai bottled brands after mineralisation — and customers routinely pick PureOas in blind tests.
Cloudiness in a glass that clears from the bottom upward is dissolved air released from pressurised mains water — harmless. Cloudiness that does not clear is usually fine sediment or mineral precipitation, sometimes from a recently flushed building riser. If it persists beyond 24 hours, the supply has a real issue and a filter is a reasonable response.
DEWA does not routinely fluoridate tap water. Natural fluoride content in Dubai desalinated water is very low (0.05–0.2 mg/L, well below the 0.7 mg/L US recommendation). If you are concerned, check with your dentist — fluoride supplementation via toothpaste is typically sufficient. RO removes fluoride almost entirely.
